So, how would you like to live in a home that was once a barn? But, not just any barn. Hiltrud’s home was formerly a very special barn, so special it was regulated by officials. The approval and purpose are carved above the door for all to see, a perpetual assurance to those who sought services here.

I asked Hilrud what the inscription meant. She laughed and explained this was once an approved site for farmers to bring their cows for breeding. Ahh…and so it says! “And here, “ she says as she pointed to the beam with the hook in her living room ceiling,” is the spot it all happened!”
