It’s Not Quite Spring..But Getting Close

Puxatawnty Phil made his pronouncement - six more weeks of winter. At least that’s the expectation outside his groundhog digs in Pennsylvania.

Here in Tuscany it may still be winter too, but everywhere I look I see hopeful signs of approaching spring.

You can sense the subtle change in the quality of afternoon light (here from high above Panzano at the Montefili winery) and know that the spring equinox is coming
